MWA is spearheading the design for ASI’s new hospital concept in collaboration with David Morley Architects. The vision for the hospital is to create a personal, calming and welcoming environment for it's patients.
The material palette throughout the scheme includes light corian reception desks, terrazzo style flooring and timber wall panelling. In addition, the upholstery and soft furnishings have been selected to reflect the Client's branding and create a sense of warmth and comfort.
On each floor a light and airy reception area and waiting lounge form the focal point of the main space. Slatted metal panels offer privacy, whilst ambient lighting and soft furnishings are introduced to make visitors feel at ease.
For the corridors a bespoke floor pattern has been designed to mirror the neighbouring iconic car park which forms part of the view from the hospital.
The 6th floor introduces a healing garden and terrace. Treatment rooms are fronted by large shop-style windows that allow plenty of natural light to enter the space.
