A prolific developer client approached MWA to drawn up proposals for works to their family home in St John’s Wood conservation. MWA investigated feasibility studies ranging from the full demolition of the existing property and creation of a new build contemporary villa, through to the extensive redevelopment of the existing stucco villa behind retained facades.
The range of proposals all included an extensive basement development housing reception and leisure facilities, with swimming pool, spa area and bowling alley.
MWA entered into a pre application process with Westminster City Council prior to the formal planning submission. This collaborative approach resulted in the successful planning approval in March 2016.
