Over the course of the year, we host students for work experience in our studio, giving them a tailored program to follow which requires the development of a pavilion on the grounds of one of our current projects. This fun and interactive program aims to give young people an insight into the stages we go through as architects when first designing a space, from the initial concept stage through to the sketching and modelling. At the end of their work experience week, we hold a ‘pin up’ where the student gets an opportunity to share their week’s work to some of the team at MWA. The experience is aimed at not only having a glimpse into the profession but also developing some new skills and confidence in a work environment.
