We have recently received planning consent for our 10th Grade I listed John Nash terrace in Regent’s Park. Over the past decade, MWA have successfully navigated the complexities of working with these historic properties. Our team brings a wealth of expertise to ensure the careful restoration to Nash terraces befitting their Grade I listings. Our ongoing commitment to the preservation and enhancement of Nash terraces reflects our dedication to thoughtful development.
This Nash terrace was developed by the Crown Estate from designs by Decimus Burton and was the first terrace of Nash’s Regent’s Park masterplan to be built. Nash was instrumental in supervising the construction of the terrace and influencing the style and character to ensure uniformity of design around the park. The whole terrace was given a Grade I listed status in 1970 and is on the government’s Statutory List of Buildings of Special Architectural and Historic Interest.
Proposed works to the five-storey property include internal alterations and reconfiguration throughout, improvement to thermal properties of the existing envelope and reinstating historic features.
