Following the success of the LIPS Healthcare Clinic and Pharmacy, MWA were appointed to design the next LIPS healthcare clinic within an adjacent unit at the Grade II* Listed Battersea Power Station. The brief sought a clear visual relationship with the neighbouring centres, while allowing this unit to develop its own identity focused on wellness-led services. The proposals introduce a broader public-facing offer, with wellness uses supported by a café and retail facilities.
Once complete, the LIPS Battersea project will span three units across the first floor of Turbine Hall B, consolidating the brand’s presence within the Power Station.
MWA are acting as lead designer and are responsible for coordinating the core design team, including MEP engineers, fire engineering, and building control. Specialist consultants and equipment suppliers have been engaged and coordinated to support the detailed design of key clinical spaces, including aesthetic and dental suites, physiotherapy facilities, and consultation rooms.
